How to make everlasting change in your life?

Is there any area in your life that you would like to change? Is there an area of your life you’ve tried changing, made some progress but somehow ended up in the same spot you started in? Have you seen ‘The Secret’ and understood the importance of the law of attraction. You now know that the Thinker thinks, the Prover proves. You have tried making the law of attraction work for you but yet you found it difficult to lift yourself to higher vibrations? Or you may have got there but found it hard to stay at a state of high vibration long enough to allow manifestation to occur?

Maybe you want to lose weight; you want to improve your temper or have more control over your emotions and your life, you may want to get rid of addictions; to be a better parent; or in some cases, to wake up early and to exercise regularly.

There are normally three things that stand in our way. They are our mind chatter, our belief system and our ego.

1. The mind chatter

The mind chatter is the internal dialog that is going on in our heads at all times that we keep repeating to ourselves all the time. Here is what Eckhart Tolle says about it in ‘The Power of Now“.

 ‘This incessant mental noise prevents you from finding that realm of inner stillness that is inseparable from Being. It also creates a false mind-made self that casts a shadow of fear and suffering.’

2. The belief system

 Our belief system can very useful to us because it simplify our lives and save us mental energy. However, the problem with that is not that we have a belief system, but that we do not recognize we have this belief system. We think this is how the world works. But, this is not how the world works; this is our perception of how the world works, built in our mind. The interesting thing about our beliefs is that the moment we have a defined belief, the universe will agree with you and will gives you enough evidence that this is in fact the way it is working.  So it is with the law of attraction, we will attract or only see evidence of our belief though it is actually a limiting belief.  What we do is that we only notice the evidence that is confirming our belief, and make excuses when evidence does not fit your model. Each time you find yourself unhappy about something in your life, you can always trace it back to one or more beliefs which are not serving you very well.

  3. The ego

Most of us have a habit of living that everything that is happening is about us in other words we live in a ‘Me Centered Universe’. We interpret everything that happens in terms of the effect it has on us. How much of your time do you spend in your ego? Where regardless of what happens, the first thing we think about is in terms of what’s in it for me? If you spend a dominate amount of time in your ego, you are guaranteed to find more than your share of frustrations, of pain, of suffering, of life sucks. They come with the territory of being in a Me Centered Universe. The only way you can live a completely fulfilled life is to design your life such that what you are doing aligns with a higher purpose. You are the one who gets to define what this higher purpose is. The good news is that once you recognize this, it is not that hard to make a shift. Life coaching can help make a quicker shift in your life so you can only attract wealth, abundance, prosperity, love and perfect health.
